About Candace Wooten MS, PA-C
Candace
is originally from La Grange, North Carolina. She attended East
Carolina University where she received undergraduate training in
Exercise Physiology. She later attended University of Detroit Mercy
where she earned her MS in Physician Assistant Sciences. She has been
a Physician Assistant for 8 years and has experience in internal
medicine, emergency medicine and urgent care. She holds a
certification from NCCPA. She is also currently training to become a
Certified Diabetes Educator.
She is a member of the American Association of Physician Assistants as well as Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She volunteers her time with the Distinguished Young Women Program and is a member of the LaGrange Frink Alumni Association. In her spare time, Candace enjoys traveling and reading; she is a self-described “foodie.”
Candace is a compassionate and enthusiastic provider and works closely with Dr. Watkins and Dr. Luster to provide exceptional care. She has special interest in women’s health and preventative care. Candace’s personal patient care philosophy is:
